"Come 'n Get Me" dives deep into the darker corners of the modern experience. The lyrics, penned by John Heavern, paint a picture of a "crazy life" defined by a "never-ending downward spiral". It’s a song for anyone who has ever felt "out of money, out of time" and stuck in a world where "honesty is a policy of old".
The track takes a sharp aim at the corporate world, highlighting how "truth is never really meeting any corporate expectations". It’s rebellious, honest, and unapologetic—capped off by the hauntingly defiant hook: "Let the Devil come 'n get me".
