Sharing a Moment Is Cool: Announcing the New Single with Saxophonist Dan Rosati

I am excited to announce the release of a brand-new track titled "Sharing a Moment Is Cool", an upbeat Cool Jazz/Fusion single arranged, performed, and mastered by American saxophonist Dan Rosati.

Following up on our previous releases together, this track brings together an incredible international lineup of musicians from across the globe. It was an absolute pleasure to lay down the lead guitar solo for this groove-driven project.

The Global Lineup

What makes "Sharing a Moment Is Cool" special is its rich ensemble performance, featuring talented independent artists collaborating across borders through the Kompoz platform:

• Dan Rosati (USA) – Arrangement, Saxophone & Mastering[1]

• PJ Lucidi (Italy) – Guitar Lead

• Carlos Baez (Argentina) – Piano

• Mark Bowen (USA) – Bass

• Brian Henry (USA) – Drums

Each musician brings a distinct touch to the track, blending smooth piano voicings, tight basslines, and driving drums around Dan's expressive saxophone phrasing.

Behind the Solo & Gear Setup

For my guitar solo, I focused on crafting a melodic line that glides between smooth chord tones and dynamic "inside/outside" phrasing a approach Dan Rosati and I have explored in past collaborations.

To capture the right tone for the track, I recorded in my home studio using:

• Guitar: My custom Noro PL Signature Series ("PierCaster") Super Strat, hand-built in Italy by luthier Davide Noro.

• Amp & Processing: Fractal Audio FM3 processor for organic, mix-ready tube tone.

• DAW: Tracked directly inside Reaper.

The single is now officially available on all digital streaming platforms.
